Hey Deeper Family!

We are SO looking forward to reopening on Sunday, July 12th! We have to follow a lot of new guidelines so please read this email carefully and let us know if you have questions.

In an effort to follow the mandates set in place by Governor Inslee, we ask that everyone adhere to the following when gathering on church property:

  1. Before arriving, each individual should self-screen for signs and symptoms - temperature should be taken and if it is 100.4 degrees or above, individual should remain at home. In addition to self-screening at home, all staff and volunteers will do a temperature check with provided thermometers at the door.

  2. All people must maintain 6 feet of distance from each other (except for family members), including pastors, staff, and volunteers. This includes while going up and down stairs, in the lobby, waiting in line for the bathroom, greeting each other, etc.

  3. When entering the building, people must remain 6 feet apart and enter one individual or family group at a time. Sunday School attendees should use back door to enter and exit Sunday School.

  4. All people must wear face masks at all times while on the church property. Please visit https://kingcounty.gov/depts/health/covid-19/care/masks.aspx for more information about face masks and the state requirements.

  5. Chair clusters will be placed 6 feet apart, all facing forward. One person per chair cluster, families may sit together.

  6. No giving plates will be passed. If giving tithe/offering, place in the Giving Box next to the Connection Booth or give online.

  7. If communion is being held, individual servings will be distributed by church volunteers wearing gloves.

  8. We will not be serving coffee or refreshments, but people may bring their own individual beverages.

  9. Children must remain with their family at all times. We will provide activity bags for each child. Parents are welcome to bring other activities for their children.

  10. One guardian may use the Nursing Mother’s lounge and diaper changing station at a time. Anyone who uses the room must wipe it down and sanitize before leaving.

  11. Sanitizing wipes will be placed in each bathroom. We ask that each person wipe down all surfaces their hands touched before exiting. Trash cans will be placed outside the bathrooms to discard of wipes. Only 2 people at a time allowed in downstairs bathrooms.

  12. Once main auditorium has reached 50 people, the downstairs will be used as overflow, up to 25 people. We will stream the service downstairs.

  13. Hand sanitizer, gloves, sanitizing wipes, and tissues will be placed throughout the building.

  14. We will not be handing out bulletins. To stay up to date with events, sign up for emails and watch the slides.

  15. If tested positive for COVID-19, individual should inform church staff immediately. Church will be closed down for 2 weeks and attendees will be recommended to self-isolate for 14 days.

  16. We ask that anyone at-risk or unable/unwilling to follow these mandates continue to join us online from their own home.

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to help on Sundays. A volunteer training meeting for all volunteers on will be held on Sunday, July 12th at 8am. Please reply to this email and let us know if you are willing to volunteer with greeting, ushering, sanitizing, or be trained on the Audio/Visual team.

While this is our current plan, things may change. If Gov. Inslee decides to cancel Phase 2, we may have to return to online services only. Please continue to pray for our leaders, city, and nation.
