Description

We use a group discussion method to read and talk about a different passage of scripture each week. The focus is on helping each person read and extract meaning from the Bible, and then learn ways to apply it to their lives and change how they live or what they believe.

About the leaders

Dan has attended Deeper Church since Jan 2023 and helps in a variety of ways. Before that he led numerous Bible studies and small groups, taught at church events and on Sunday mornings, and has participated in various short-term mission trips. Outside church, he has been a public school teacher, and now works as a marketing writer and novelist.

Sokha is passionate about cultivating deep relationships with God and others. At Deeper Church, he is dedicated to fostering a sense of community, spiritual growth, and purpose through the Gospel. With a heart for serving others, he strives to help people experience God’s presence in transformative ways. Outside of church, he enjoys volunteering at Transform Burien and spending quality time with his three kids, continuing to live out his faith in everyday life.

About the leaders

Married for over 20 years to my wife Kathy, we raised our two beautiful daughters in the Pacific Northwest. When not working, I enjoy reading, hiking, and exercise. I aim to be surrendered to God daily - rejoicing in Him always!
